“This is by far the most rock and roll thing that I’ve ever done. There aren’t many concert experiences that start un-rock and roll, and rock and roll. Like slipping on your sweat and crashing to the floor, not so much. But being able to play for you guys with a big fucking bloody hand kinda makes it all better” oh Jack…
Philly fun. concert 4.28.12 = UNFORGETTABLE!!poor jack. at least someone had some neosporin and a band-aid.
fun. finally covers Call Me Maybe!
Walking the Dog II— fun.
Absolutely beautiful.
Somebody That I Used To Know (feat. Hayley Williams)-fun.
One of the many great things about fun.’s concerts, is that they don’t close with their “Big Hit”. They close with Take Your Time Coming Home, because that’s what they’ve been closing with before the hit, and because it’s the best choice of their songs to close with. It makes sense.
Other bands play their biggest song(Cough YC Ocean Ave Cough GR GoodnightMoon Cough) to close the show out because it will get the biggest response.
I love that they dont close with We Are Young.
.
Andrew Dost plays a drum solo on a cardboard box.
Take Your Time (Acoustic Version) - Fun.
take your time coming home
hear the wheels as they roll
let your lungs fill up with smoke
forgive everyone
And it’s all alright.
I guess it’s all alright.
I got nothing left, inside of my chest,
But it’s all alright.
